Every Speech-Language Therapy program at Vero Pediatric Therapy Services is designed and delivered by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Where applicable, our SLPs hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association — a meaningful quality signal that verifies national-level training, supervised clinical hours, and ongoing continuing education. What to Expect
Every family begins with a free consultation call so we can hear what is going on, answer your questions, and decide together whether an evaluation is the right next step. The evaluation itself blends parent interview, standardized assessments, dynamic language sampling, and structured play. From there, your SLP builds an individualized plan with clear, measurable goals and walks you through it in plain language.
Sessions are play-based and naturalistic. We use the activities your child already loves — books, pretend play, art, snack routines, motor play, tablets when appropriate — to work on the underlying language, sound, and social skills that show up in real conversations. Parents are welcomed into every session, and we make sure the strategies that work in session carry into car rides, mealtimes, and bedtime.
Our Treasure Coast Service Area
Our contracted Speech-Language Pathologists serve families throughout Vero Beach and the rest of Indian River County, Sebastian and Roseland, and Fort Pierce in northern St. Lucie County. Scheduling is flexible to accommodate school-age children, working parents, and families managing multiple appointments.
Speech, OT, and ABA: How They Work Together
Many of the children we serve work with two or three of our disciplines at once. When a child sees a Speech-Language Pathologist alongside an Occupational Therapist, or an SLP alongside an ABA team, our clinicians actively coordinate — aligning goals, sharing observations, and making sure your child experiences a consistent, supportive approach across providers rather than a confusing patchwork.
